Below is an overview of all practical information and facts about the practical course and your stay on our farm that are important to you. Please read this carefully in advance so that you will not find any surprises on the farm.
COURSE DATES
The practice course "Sustainable Utilization of African wildlife" does not work with course dates that we have set beforehand!
Instead, if interested in following the course, we will coordinate it as closely as possible with your agenda and your preferred dates. Because the activities that are part of the course take place all year round, we are flexible in planning it so that we can organise your course when it suits you best!
LOCATION
The practical course is held at the farm of Lentegeur Wildlife in South Africa. This is a beautiful farm with a total of over 3000 ha. Bush land or savanna located in the middle of the African wilderness near Thabazimbi in the Limpopo province. This is about 3 to 4 hour drive north of Johannesburg. The farm is divided into two large parts, the Breeding farm and the Hunting Farm and is run by its owners; the originally Dutch Maurits and Annemarie van de Wetering and their employees. The farm is beautifully situated in the African bush and has, among other things, a lovely swimming pool which is of course also available for guests.

The farm is fully equipped to make your stay even more enjoyable. Right next to the main building of the farm is the Monkey Thorn Bush camp located where you will spend the night with us. Here, all meals will also be enjoyed and the theoretical components of your course will also take place. Monkey thorn Bush camp is a very charming, small-scale camp with its own kitchen, central fire pit and two detached stone houses. These cottages each have 5 comfortable beds and have their own sink, toilet, shower, air conditioner, electrical connections and warm bedding for the winter period.
